Party Like a Puppy

Hi there!  One more cute card for this week as it's all I've got done for now.  Not a whole lot of stamping going on here lately.  This one was made way back for a June birthday.  I used a Bugaboo digi from their Birthday Puppy set.  Three images in the set and all cutie patooties.

I colored this puppy black like my birthday friend's little black Cocker Spaniel, not that this pup is a Cocker Spaniel, but, hey, it's close enough.  Good thing I have dog loving friends seeing as how I have a hard time resisting cute dog stamps.  It's colored with Copics on Neenah Classic White.  Glitter was added along with a few extra black speckles.

Speaking of party puppies, Tuesday was Wally's birthday.  Eight years young.  Here's our handsome guy:

And, not to be forgotten, I'll include our pretty LuLu:

I love them both so much it hurts, but I've probably mentioned that a time or two.

It's another busy day for me.  Does one ever catch up?  Summertime adds even more activities to the agenda, sheesh.  I'll list supplies below my signature.  Have a happy day!

Stamps:  Bugaboo Birthday Puppy digi stamp set, SU sentiment  Paper:  Neenah Classic Crest Solar White for image, Neenah 110 lb white for embossed panel, pink, green, old BasicGrey designer paper  Ink:  Printer, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics for coloring  Accessories:  Stickles Stardust glitter glue, Cuttlebug Scrollwork embossing folder, Memory Box Cross Stitched Frame Borders, Memory Box Banner Parade (including heart)

Such an adorable little puppy! Better not let a "cocker" owner hear you say "close enough" LOL! They are adorable dogs, aren't they? Seems like they would be a great size for someone like me, but as long as Jack is around, it will be a large dog. No matter what the size or shape, they add so much to our lives - and I know how much Wally and Lulu are loved.

Your bold black and gray tones are the perfect complement to the pretty citrusy pastels, and the dry embossing is fantastic in the background - your frames and mats are always impeccably done, Leslie - and add the most wonderful touches to the beautifully colored images. Wonderful creation! xx

How cute is that, I am sure your friend totally loved this!! Terrific coloring as always and I just love how you layered and used the embossing for framing, such a fun image!!
Oh Wally and Lulu look so happy and pretty, my daughter was over today and we were discussing how it is still so weird not to have Anna, Jip and Peanut around anymore, she is thinking I need to get another furbaby and I told her right now I don't feel the time is right just yet, I still miss them so and I just don't want to like replace them yet I guess, weird feeling, but I guess after 18 years with the cats and 16 with Peanut, it's hard to think of anymore just yet. Sorry to end on such a sour note, I am really doing ok, just still get sad at times. Hope you enjoy a great weekend!
