Succulents and Baubles

It's that time of year, Christmas is near, and today I'm here with some holiday cheer!  One last Christmas card for 2017 and then I'll take a break to thoroughly enjoy the holiday.

For this card I colored a Power Poppy digital stamp called "Wreath:  Succulents and Baubles".  Kept it very simple with some bright, festive color and lots of white.  These simple cards really have my heart lately, I tell you.

There's a Lil' Inker Silly Stitched die border which makes an impression, but doesn't cut the outer edge, so I saved a layer there.  Love that.  I cut two designer paper panels with a stitched die, added a ric rac die cut and some enamel dots.  Popped up the image panel.  Lots of stitchy-ness going on here.  The card base is Neenah 110 lb which is very sturdy and nice for a card with minimal layers.

I've been receiving some pretty fabulous Christmas cards, both hand stamped and store bought, and they're all on display, making spirits bright.  A million thanks to everyone who has taken the time to bless me and my family with their happy Christmas wishes!  Have a beautiful holiday and I'll see you again shortly after.  Hugs and love!

Stamps:  Power Poppy digi "Wreath:  Succulents and Baubles"  Paper:  Neenah Classic Crest Solar White (colored image), Neenah 110 lb white card base, red, Graphic 45 'Twas the Night Before Christmas designer paper  Ink:  Printer, Copics for coloring  Accessories:  Enamel dots, Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers, Taylored Expressions Stitched Rectangle Stacklets, Taylored Expressions Ric Rac Borders, Lil' Inker Silly Stitched Die Set, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

What a beautiful way to end the year! Your coloring always makes me envious! It always looks so realistic! I love the simplicity of this card too! And that ric rac is the perfect touch! I'm taking my ric rac die out this morning and laying it on my desk as a reminder to use it again! Merry Christmas, dear friend and blessings for the new year!

Oh Leslie, I adore succulents, I have some growing happily in my living room, they are so resilient and can take being a bit neglected, but I think they like it that way, lol!!
This image from Power Poppy is lovely, and the way you colored it simply wonderful.
I haven't posted on my blog for a couple of days, been so busy with getting the "famous" last minute Christmas shopping done, I'm so glad my sweet youngest daughter is always willing to come and give me a hand.
This is a gorgeous way to end the card making year, I'm looking forward to see you next year and admire your amazing creations.
I too have been blessed with so many gorgeous cards my dear, yours included, I have them on my living room mantel, adorning my fireplace and friends and family have been admiring them too.
Wishing you again a wonderful Christmas for you and your family, may 2018 be a blessed and healthful year.
Big hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.

Today is the last of my goodie making with the kids and then I have 10 days of freedom to hang and do whatever, woot woot! They are still sleeping so I snuck in here to catch up a bit, missed ya girlie. This is classy beautiful! I like the stitched edge and your coloring is beautiful. I hope that you, Rich and the puppies have a very Merry Christmas and soak in the New Year together thinking of all your blessings. Hugs sweet Leslie!!!

Love this simple, elegant yet festive card Leslie! You always come up with some unique layouts for your cards. The stitched edge is just enough to give it that extra something, and of course your colouring is beautiful. Just finished up with some baking, tomorrow I will just relax before Mark, Anna and the boys arrive on Christmas Day! Wishing you, Rich and family a blessed Christmas season and a healthy 2018.

Merry Christmas Leslie, I've truly enjoyed all your wonderful Christmas cards. - This year I opted not to stamp cards. Perhaps next year will be different. - I hope your family has a great holiday together. Looking forward to sharing with you in 2018. Thanks for your friendship and your blog visits. God Bless.

Aw come on! How do you do that? Colour those tiny flowers so perfectly! What a delight it is to visit you, though it makes my efforts look so poor... Sending best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful New Year!

How do you do it? The colors are so vibrant and so perfectly applied. Such "reality" in the coloring.

Talk about being late! But I love this Christmas card and love these wreaths. I've not used the succulents wreath, but I love how you've colored this one. Beautifully done with the rick-rack die, dots, and layout! Hugs!
