Merry Christmas Tree

Hello there!  I was away from the blog a little longer than planned, but happily I've gotten some cleaning and decorating and shopping done, and about half my Christmas cards written up and in the mail.  That's a time consuming process isn't it?  I forget every year how long it takes.  And I still need to make more!

Today's card is clean and bright and relatively simple.  I cut out the Bugaboo Merry Christmas Tree and then colored with Copics.  Glittered the tree's garland.  Die cut a white panel with a Lil' Inker Silly Stitched die and added the Poppystamps Snowflake Breeze.  Matted with red.

For a little something extra I cut a second Snowflake Breeze and glued it to the back of the stitched panel, all matched up in a continual line.  I did that before I glued down the stitched panel.  That probably goes without saying, doesn't it?  After the stitched panel was glued to the card base I trimmed flush the overhanging ends of the Snowflake Breeze.  Make sense?

Lastly, I ran a Copic B0000 marker along the edges of the Snowflake Breeze to help it stand out from the card a little more, then popped up the tree and added star sequins.

Back to making more Christmas cards now.  Have a happy day!

Stamps:  Bugaboo Merry Christmas Tree digi  Paper:  Neenah 110 lb white, SU! Real Red  Ink:  Printer, Copics for coloring  Accessories:  Sequins, Stickles Diamond glitter glue, Lil' Inker Silly Stitched die set, Poppystamps Snowflake Breeze, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

You could change my mind on any stamp. I would never have bought this stamp, but what you've done with it is a little bit of wonderful. Cheerful and delightful!

I'm a little bit jealous of your mailing progress.

I know what you mean, it is a time consuming process. I love this cute little tree bent over. That's how I feel at the moment. It is really neat how yoou did the die pieces. I guess I had better start sending out my cards or wait until next year! LOL!

TFS the detailed description for your colorful and whimsical Christmas tree and Snowflake Breeze die, which I have. I love the creative way of using your die.
I am looking forward to our visit today Leslie even if there will not be time to stamp. See you soon. Hugs...

I still have to sort my Christmas cards out Leslie, got as far as printing lots of inserts! now the time consuming task of adding them to cards and getting the writing done (hate this task).
Beautiful card yet again, love this wonderful coloured tree and gorgeous background detail.

Oh love this whimsical tree and your total layout! Very festive, love the snowflake breeze and those little star sequins. Your white card sure makes your tree pop! You amaze me with the bugaboo images. I look at them and think what would I do with that, or how would I colour it etc. Gorgeous card, looking forward to seeing more as always!

You always find the most fun stamps, and use them in such great ways, love how the sentiment is attached, and the use of the snowflake breeze die is very cool!! I actually finished all 9 cards for our siblings, now onto all the niece and nephews cards, still trying to figure out what to do for them, but hopefully will get started with those tomorrow!!

I love this little Christmas tree colored especially Leslie-style - in fact, I love it so much, me thinks it should be turned into rubber! Cutest EVER! I love that sweet little snowflake swish (or is it a snowflake decorated sidewalk?) - whichever, it is darling, and brings me to your happy little tree. So cute, Leslie, right down to the shine on your red ornaments. Beautiful! hugs, de

Leslie’this card is so cute! And yes, addressing the cards is time consuming. I didn’t make nearly enough cards this year. Oh well. Have a great holiday

So much to take in, Leslie! And so much newness and card product envy happening in my head! I've never seen the snowflake breeze and just love how you've designed with it and made it stand out! And that tree with the heavy sediment is out-of-this-world fabulous and fun and colored perfectly!! Once in a while I want to buy every.single.product. a card artist has used and make the prezact card. This is one of those times!! Happy Holiday Hugs! Darnell
