Fluffy on the Lily

Sometimes I just feel like making something cute and sweet and easy, and that's why I love a bit of whimsy now and then.  No pun intended, but this is Whimsy Stamps "Fluffy on the Lily".  It's not a new stamp, but one I hadn't colored yet.  I made this card quite a while back and sent it for a birthday.  I hope it's been received by now.

The watercoloring was done with Tombow markers, including the die cuts and punched flowers.  An easy design with ancient SU! designer paper and a Hero Arts sentiment.  Just plain fun!

I can't stay long today, so I'll list ingredients in the recipe below and leave you with a wish for a happy day!

Stamps:  Whimsy Stamps Fluffy on the Lily, Hero Arts Moments  Paper:  Arches 140 lb hot press watercolor, white card base, retired Stampin' Up! designer paper  Ink:  Ranger Archival Shadow Grey and Watering Can, Tombow markers plus SU! Cool Caribbean for watercoloring  Accessories:  Pearls, Memory Box Lavish Branch, Impression Obsession Leaf Cluster, flower punch

Sqeel!! Oh my Leslie, just what I need to see first thing in the morning. This card makes me smile and feel happy. After cold wintery dull days it so nice to see something to pretty. What a fabulous job (as always) on your colouring, and I love how you used the little flowers for your little bouquet on the side. The paper is perfect, and love your stitching.Oh what a fabulous card. I'm sure the recipient loved this. I'm still in awe over this, it's just so sweet and pretty! Thanks for making my day! Enjoy yours.

One of my favorites, Leslie. I love all the soft colors. I normally shy away from images that are not realistic, unless they are for a child. But this one is both whimsical and elegant and I absolutely adore it! Really! Really!

Oh Leslie, your card is so soft and pretty. A wonderful reminder that Spring will be here soon. Our grass is starting to grow.. daffidils and day lilies are coming up. No worries about not having enough water, but lucky us....that is rarely a worry. Stay dry, Hugs....
