Pumpkin Feast

Hi there!  One more Thanksgiving card just for fun.  I've had this Stampendous wood block stamp for ages and still use it every few years.  Today it's combined with a fall vine and an everyday wood frame.  I believe dies were not even a "thing" when I first bought the stamp.  Time marches on.

I did my usual coloring with Tombow markers on watercolor paper.  No blender this time, just the markers.  These days I'm comfortable with a looser coloring style -- not a lot of detail and shading.  I'm sorry about that in some ways, but better to ease up than to stop altogether.

Thanks for stopping by!  Take care till we meet again.

Stamps:  Stampendous Pumpkin Feast, Hero Arts sentiment  Paper:  Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140 lb hot press watercolor, Cougar vanilla  Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black, Memento Rich Cocoa for sentiment  Coloring:  Tombow markers  Dies:  Memory Box Autumn Border, Impression Obsession Small Leaf Set, Hero Arts Wood Frame, Spellbinders rectangle from retired set  Other:  Clear embossing powder, foam tape to pop up sentiment and single leaf

Beautiful Autumn card and die-cut Autumn leaves-love the image and great colouring-I must admit don't have the patience for a lot of detail and shading-my son always says to me put more shading in lol,but thats not me!

What a nice stamp. Love your pumpkins! I still like a lot of my old stamps, but am addicted to dies and stencils. Your die is so cute with all the different leaves. I hope to get some Thanksgiving cards made. I love this holiday and feel it is overlooked. Enjoy the rest of the week playing with Sophie!!

Your looser style of coloring with the Tombows is still incredible Leslie...who needs shading when you can accomplish what you have with just the marker?!! And such a sweet image too...sure made me smile to see the one chipmunk buroughing his way in to that pumpkin! Sweet, sweet card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

You Tombow coloring looks great to me, Leslie! This is a darling image and worth using every year. Those chippies are adorable. I remember, WAY back in the day, thinking why would I ever want to buy a die cut machine when I can just stamp. Boy was I wrong LOL!

What a lovely card my friend and I still adore your coloring! I used to have a couple of chipmonks around my house but I haven't seen for several years. Probably moved on at some point but I miss them as they just made me smile. The card you sent was just perfect and you made me pull out my sunflower stamps and have a play. Thanks so much!

A beautiful Autumn card with the pretty pumpkins and those pesky chipmunks enjoying themselves way too much. Fabulous coloring too and still has lots of shading to me, your coloring is always spot on as are you card designs!! Since we have three outside kitties we don't have the chippies anymore but my brother is overrun with the little rascals!!

Beautiful, I do love your fall leaves across the top of the image and all framed with the wood frame. Yes they do look like they are more than enjoying those pumpkins :) Isn't it something how things have evolved in cardmaking since we started back so many years ago. I agree that there are just those stamps that need to be used every year :) Great sentiment to go by too!
Hope you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving!

This is exactly what the squirrels are doing to our large pumpkin right now LOL. I love it! Kids (teen and young adult) no longer want to carve them but I still get them so the squirrels can eat the seeds :)
Your card is so so fun and beautifully done! Thank you so much for sharing with us at Four Seasons challenge!

Oh my friend ... it is so good to see you back crafting again! I know it's still difficult but hopefully also therapeutic for you. This image comes right out of my own backyard lol ... the squirrels have been scurrying all about getting their black walnuts stashed EVERYWHERE for the winter ... especially in my planters!! LOL Beautiful coloring as always! Big Hugs to you! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Four Seasons & The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenges! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back again soon.
