Hello friends! I've been having fun again. Can't help it, as sophisticated as card making gets, I still love to simply play at it.
I opened my box of printed up digis to see what fit the soon-to-be-fall season. Sure enough there sat these Bugaboo critters, probably one of the last digis I was able to get from Bugaboo. I don't think there's any place to buy them since the site went down.
This image was printed on watercolor paper after I lightened the outline in Corel. I colored with Tombow markers and homemade blender.
For additional fun I stamped the sky with blue splatters. You know I love my designer paper so I added a strip of that with the sentiment. The sanded card base was already made and sitting in a drawer of cards I've prepared and tucked away. Finally, the scene is finished with a whole bunch of autumn leaves which were also colored with Tombows and blender.
How can I resist playing along in Four Seasons September Challenge? It's anything goes Fall, but there is a beautiful mood board for extra inspiration:
It's always fun when the changing seasons bring a change in card making, and fall cards are some of my favorites... until spring comes along. Have a good day!

Just look at those two little faces gracing the front of your card! I love your coloring and those leaves are amazing!
I miss Bugaboo, they were the 1st digis I discovered when I started coloring with alcohol markers. Your card is very sweet and we thank you for sharing with us at The Four Seasons Challenge.

Cute card Leslie, I love the image. xx
This looks exactly like a Leslie card should appear! Beautifully colored, whimsical creatures, and fun all the way around! I love your shading, and those darling little critters. They look like they are wondering "what's up!" As though they have been caught being naughty. LOL SUCH SWEETNESS, Leslie! xx
So cute! Fall is NOT in the air here in H Town yet, but it will pop in when it's ready without any warning. Love your design and layout and you do such an awesome job with your coloring no matter what medium you use.
Leslie these guys are a hoot! They have that 'we're caught' look on their faces, don't they?
Altogether a very happy, super fun day of play!

So adorable! I wonder how many people besides us still have Itty Bitty Backgrounds. :-)
How lucky are you that you have some goodies already to go! This image is just too cute for words. I haven't sanded a card base in ages. You are are right. I've been looking for my fall cards and working with some stencils. From our kitchen table we can see our bird feeders and we were watching tonight this squirrel hanging upside down swinging back and forth trying to get at the birdseed. He looks so cute just like your little squirrel!
Oh Leslie, this is fabulous. I am in continuous awe of your coloring. That pumpkin is fantastic.
An adorable image, fantastic coloring and blending and your falling leaves and splatters make this a completely pleasing Fall card, Leslie! Awesome card, my friend!

Oh my goodness you found a perfect image for the challenge, they are just too cute, fantastic no line coloring with your light printing. Love the touch with the spotted background too, your added leaves with it fit in perfectly!
OMG those critters are so darn cute ♥ Wonderful colouring xx
Your colouring really shines out on this one. I love the expressions on those little faces and your colourful leaves. that is a very clever way to use your designer paper too and your background splatters add just enough interest to your background. You are on a roll at the moment. so sorry it has taken me a while to catch up with you. I am glad I found time today as it has been a real treat xx
