Ocean Fish Splishin' Again

Hi friends!  I hope you don't mind if I share more fish cards today.  These two cards are somewhat simple designs that just sort of happened all on their own and they turned out to be my favorites.

Using the Memory Box Ocean Fish 3D embossing folder with matching dies and stencils.

First is a 3 3/4" x 6 3/4" mini-slimline.  These fish were die cut from a stenciled wavy underwater background.  I was struck by how pretty they were with their delicate colors and gentle pattern from the waves stencil so I simply embossed and left all but one as is.  An old Darice Corner Scroll embossing folder added movement to the background.

Just one fish is colored, popped up, and facing the opposite direction... hence the sentiment (Power Poppy).

Inside has more fish, soft wave stenciling and a Hero Arts sentiment.

I had three fish left over so I made a 3 1/2 x 6" mini-slimline using the same Darice Corner Scroll embossing folder.  This one is a birthday card with a Stampendous sentiment.  So simple and so much fun!

Wishing you all a happy weekend.  If you're traveling and observing the Labor Day weekend here in the US please stay safe while you enjoy it.  See you again soon!

ACK! both of these are amazing Leslie. I absolutely love the first one, your design is amazing, love that embossing folder works so perfectly with your fish scene, and the colours of your fish - again amazing especially the middle one - the stand out guy. Love how you finished the inside as well. So glad you went with a white background, just makes everything pop, so fresh and clean! I can't stop looking at this. Your second card is so sweet as well. Well done Leslie. Thank you for sharing these beautiful cards. Have a wonderful long weekend, looking forward to having 3 days off!

These are both great, I love how the first is a slimline and the way the one is colored and going the opposite way, the embossing folders on each card is perfect too. Great sentiment! Your inside of the card could make a wonderful outside!
Love your fish on the second card, such pretty colors and fun sentiment, you have done great with these fish!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Mind you sharing these gorgeous and amazing cards? Never in a million years, my friend.
I just love all three of them, each one has its own unique beauty and charm.
You are tempting me to get these amazing products you used for your cards, I only have one fish stamp set, and this embossing folder and coordinating dies would be a really fun addition to my craft room.
Thank you for sharing.
Stay healthy and safe.
XO
Maria.

These are all brilliant Leslie. I love them and it is funny how the cards that just kind of happen often become favourites. It is such a good feeling when things come together without all the agonising! The stencilling and texture on the fish really make them special. you have definitely made me want that die set now xx

Leslie, yes, I LOVE the clean simplicity! The dies are beautiful and the texture and soft colors are so dreamy! I have trouble thinking of how to use fish images, but the sentiment is the best!
