Birdhouse Row

Hello, friends!  I hope you're well.  We're still waiting for the vaccine and carrying on safely in the meantime with multiple home improvement projects, as well as visits to the vet for some worrying issues with Wally and LuLu.  I'd like to report good news on that, but it remains to be seen.  That's all I can say at the moment.

Taking some quiet time in my stamp room is therapeutic.  My right hand with trigger finger is not all the way better, so I have to be careful with it.  However, I just had to color something.  It's been a while since I reached into my basket of not-yet-used stamps, so I pulled out this Birdhouse Row by Impression Obsession.  It was a gift from a friend who knew I would love it.

I colored with Copics on X-Press It Blending Card and put together a simple design with patterned paper, gingham ribbon, and a resin sentiment circle, all of which have been with me for many years.  Added some sequins, including the stars just for fun.  I made two cards with this stamp.  The other card is similar enough that I didn't photograph it, but I'm feeling good that I gave this cute stamp some love.

Back to business now, but I'll try for crafty time, too.  I'm feeling a little out of the flow.  You know how it is -- if you don't use it you lose it.  Take care!

Stamps:  Impression Obsession Birdhouse Row  Paper:  X-Press It Blending Card for colored panel, Neenah classic white for card base, SU Bashful Blue, Chatterbox designer paper  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black  Coloring:  Copics  Other:  Resin sentiment circle (source forgotten), gingham ribbon, Fiskars scallop scissors, sequins, Spellbinders Scored and Pierced Rectangles die

Such a pretty Spring card and great use of your pretty papers and resin sentiment! Funny but sometimes when I get a stamp I think "I bet Leslie would love this" lol, we both seem to have a lot of the same tastes in stamps, the cuter the better, and these birdhouses are adorably cute!

I love, love this sweet row of adorable bird houses, so colorful and beautiful.
I would love to be a little bird occupying one of them.
Love the design with those lovely pattern papers, the soft bling of the sequences and stars and the awesome sentiment, beautifully done, my friend.
Stay healthy and safe, and please let us know how are Wally and Lulu, I pray that whatever is worrying you will be taken care and fixed soon.
Hugs, my friend.
XO

Booboo on the trigger finger? that's not good! Leslie, you card is so cute! The image is especially pretty with the primary colors in the image, and the softer, colorful papers in the background! The thing that really makes me, as the viewer, feel special is the "how are you" button", so just think how it will make your recipient feel! It's a wonderful card, and I admire all the tiniest of details you brought out in your coloring. hugs, de

I just love this card with all the little birdhouses gathered together! All your pieces came together so well to make this a perfect scene. One of my stamping friends sent me a picture of her dog suffering with an ear infection. He looked so pathetic! It is so upsetting when they get sick. I will pray for good results for Wally and LuLu! Take care and stay safe!

This is so cute! What an adorable image. I have lots of birdhouses along with cats all around my craft room. Sorry to hear that Wally and LuLu are having issues. I just had one of my outside kitties to the vet last week. That doesn't happen very often, but she had some spots on one of her ears. Since she's white, her ears are vulnerable to sarcomas. Lucky, that wasn't it. In fact, not sure what it was, but I'm keeping an eye on her ears.

Super cute birdhouses!!! I hope your finger gets better and you can get the vaccine soon. We got ours just last week in ND as we are residents there. They seem to be moving right along. My second shot is in a few weeks..no problem with the first one!

It is amazing how a bit of play time in your craft room can cheer you up. I am so sorry that Wally and Lulu are having health problems. There is nothing more worrisome than having our kids under the weather. I do love how you used some of your older products and you always turn several different designer papers, stamps and products into magical cards without seeming cluttered. Love and Hugs to you and the family. Nancy

I'm so far behind with commenting because I'm just now learning that Wally & Lulu are having health issues. Sad to hear and I hope they are better soon.

Adorable spring card. That little row of bird houses is darling and you colored it perfectly. Love that you used the resin circle too. I have a bunch of stuff like that in my stash as well that I need to get out and use.

You know how much I love birds and nature, well this card speaks to me! Love the bird houses, so colourful they are! Your complete layout and colours is so pretty. I have some of that chatterbox paper, I forgot about it until I saw your card! I"m sorry to hear about Wally and Lulu, I hope they will be okay. So nice to see your card today Leslie, sorry for being so late at commenting. With work being so busy, I seldom go onto my computer at night during the week. Keep well,
