How about a little Sophie and Ridley today?
It was almost like summer last Monday when my son and I took the kids to the beach. It was Ridley's first time at the actual ocean shore as opposed to the bay and he loved it. Everything's okay as long as his big sister Sophie is with him.
Low tide and gentle waves on a warm and windless day -- perfection.
I accidently got in over my ankles with my shoes on, so might as well have fun with it.
Ridley is now 10 months old, Sophie 2 1/2 yrs.
The photo below is my favorite of the day with the way they're leaning into each other, sharing their joy. I never fail to appreciate how lucky I am to have the two of them in my life.

What a beautiful pair of fur babies, the pictures are gorgeous, making me yearn for summer. We've had a few warm days here in Michigan as well and a few more to come, I have a few blooms already. We also had a tornado in my part of lower SW Michigan but we were lucky as it passed us by and hit 10 miles south of us and 25 miles east, too close for comfort, am hoping this is not how our Spring and summer will be! Anyhow, thanks for sharing those beautifully fun pictures with us, it is always a pleasure to see the fur babies, I'm a fan!!

So pretty. The beach looks amazing.
A day of perfection- sweet puppies (can it be true? Sophie is already 30 months old??) beautiful sky, lots of sunshine, the scent of salt, the sound of gentle lapping waves, laughter, and sweet memories of days gone by. Our doggies always loved the beach, but cleaning out the car and bathing the dog at home were time consuming lol. Ours also loved playing in the sprinklers, specifically rain birds and oscillating sprinklers, and carrying them around, and biting the water. Our first GSD also chased the lawn mower’s wheels as I pushed it, making me laugh, and bringing fun to the chore. We’re in a heat wave with temps 88-90 the last week! It’s never that warm in March! You may be lucky to have your fur children, Leslie, but they are fantastically lucky to have you as their mom. Thanks for the memories, for sharing fun moments, and allowing me to live vicariously through you. Giggling. Love, de.
