Kitchen Dresses

Hello at last!  I finished up a few things on my stamping to-do list so I'll be able to pop in with a little something now and then.  I go on spells where I do everything but stamping for a while and get all caught up, then I spend some time stamping and get behind in everything else again, sheesh.

I promised a friend I'd make some of these kitchen dress cards for her.  The first two are blank inside so she can use them for whatever.  The die set is Frantic Stamper's Kitchen Dress A2 Card Maker.  The back of each card is the same designer paper as the front.  I cut two white liners, as well, for sturdiness.

Another item checked off my to-do list is this month's Christmas card.  Nothing like waiting till the last minute!  Below are two kitchen dresses with a Christmas theme -- one for me and one for my friend.  Her choice.  Inside is the sentiment "Sweet holiday wishes".  My Christmas dress card will most likely be delivered to my former workplace with a batch of homemade goodies.

It's hard to stop once I get started with this die set because the dresses all come out so cute, but I had to make time for the next project.  I'll come back Friday with more just in case you're of a mind to visit.  I sure do love it when you stop by.  Have a good week!

Oh my goodness Leslie - these are the most adorable dress cards! Wow, love them all. Such details as well, love the papers and colours. What a great idea for sending off baked goodies to attach one of these cards. Hmmm.. might have to look into getting this die. Well once again you have inspired me as always. Looking forward to your Friday's post, you know I'll be here! Have a wonderful week.

These cards are so sweet! And good for you for using the design to create your Christmas card for the month! I find that designing a card always takes longer than executing it!

I am the same way, I get where I want to stamp and other times when I just want to work with dies. You always do a wonderful job when you combine the two :)

Oh my goodness, Leslie! These are all so adorable. And you have made this die set so versatile with your creativity.

Just have to laugh at your cycle of 'stamping/falling behind' and 'not stamping/getting caught up.' Story of my life, too!! LOL It's all crazy good though. Glad you found some time to share these darling dresses.

The die cuts, and your choices of papers are just as sweet as possibly can be! Leslie, I've never seen anything like these before, and I love what you have done! hugs, de

These dresses are adorable, wish I had ordered that die (since Dar bought the last one...lol)..so cute, I grew up loving paper dolls so this die is right up my alley, so fun to make with all the different papers.! I have been outside the last 2 days, today ALL day, I think I will stay in tomorrow and do some much needed DT work, hope my creativeness returns, it has been long gone for awhile!

I fell in love with these cute dresses and purchased the die. I was wondering if you glued down the front and back at the top to make the card open? I doubled my CS and slid the top of the die down a pinch so it wouldn't cut out the top but then the top of the dress doesn't match up perfectly. Just wandering what you did - thanks - nannyspansypatch@gmail.com.
