Hello and welcome!
As I go through the process of consolidating my dies -- several like dies onto one magnetic sheet -- I'm becoming reacquainted with the oldies. It's funny how they can look brand new and I'm eager to use them again. Such is the case with this Tutti Designs Bird Tapestry. I found one in the envelope already cut in white and just waiting for a card.
Dainty and feminine, isn't it? Just sweet. I cut another panel and layered it, then layered that over a panel of BasicGrey Euphoria paper (quite old). I think the small flowery print looks pretty peeking through the negative cut. The blue panel it rests on is from the same Euphoria pad, and I cut the sentiment from that blue as well. Before cutting the sentiment I glued the designer paper onto a heavy white cardstock so it would be easier to work with, as well as having a bit more dimension.
To finish, I punched 1/8" cardstock circles with a hole punch, placed them as shown, and coated with JudiKins Diamond Glaze.

The Neglected Stuff Challenge. The last time I used this die was 2018. It seems like yesterday.
I'm thinking I need to designate a few hours a month to the oldies.
I have a long way to go on the die project. I've done Banners & Flags, Beach, Birds, Birthday, Borders, Bows. I'm about to start on Butterflies & Bugs and that will finish the "B's". The categories end with "Words", so you can guess it will take a while.
I appreciate that you took the time to stop by. Wishing you a lovely day!

So many little details. I love the paper under the birds. Such a pretty card. Amazing all the little details. Have a great day
Very pretty, so happy you brought it out to use! Love the pretty print underneath sets off those birds beautifully!! You know after working for Tutti this is one die I don't think I was ever sent, you notice I said 'don't think', that is because I have 60 binders of dies, a bit crazy isn't it(?), but they are all organized pretty good ( some are heavy to lift) and lots have never been used...yet!!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Leslie! Those birds are so pretty with the tiny print dsp behind them! You are so good at using up older dsp while mine just sit neglected year after year after year... And not only dsp, but now you're working on the dies, and putting me to shame my friend! Most days I seem to struggle to even find enough mojo to go in my room and play lately, let alone be organizing!! One of these days... But anyway, your card is so lovely and has totally brightened my day!! Hugs. :0)
WOW a long way to go then! Stunning card, l love the absolutely beautiful Bird Tapestry die and p, paper underneath.

Gorgeous! I so miss that Basic Gray paper. I still have some that I am hoarding although I don't know what for. Must get it out and use it.
You are finding buried treasure in your reorganization process, Leslie! This is so pretty and I'm loving the plumage the paper gives these birds! Keep on finding these 'old friends'.
Such a beautiful card! TFS Now I covet that die. :-)
Such a beautiful card, Leslie, and yes - it looks great with the tiny print under it! Oh my - what a huge task!!! I'm sure it will be super-wonderful when you get done. (My clear coating is Diamond Glaze, too. :-) )
As soon as I saw this, I thought of tapestry! I took a glass once you know! Then when I read your post and seat it was exactly that I was not surprised. You do amazing things with older products! I love that.
I do love revisiting the oldies too, it makes you wonder what took so long to use them, to many choices maybe :) I love that die it reminds me of a fancy scarf that were put out on tables at my Aunt's house :). The paper behind is perfect with it for sure, so lovely!
What a lovely card, Leslie! I like the pretty birds and the patterned paper peeking through the cut outs!
So much detail and texture ... and lovely colour choice.
It is so nice that you are finding and loving again your older dies. Reorganising is great for that. This pretty die looks wonderful over that paper. What a great combination xx
I love seeing your newly discovered supplies in such pretty cards, Leslie! This die is so dainty and the way the paper shines through is delightful! I have bought containers, but have yet to begin re-organizing. Good for you!
such gorgeous flowers peeking through your die cut, I'm jealous of your reorganization. It's on my To Do list but can't seem to make it to the top 🤣
Oh My Stars! What a beautiful card using this oldie die! I, of course, have it in my stash also and it hasn't seen the light of day in years ... thanks for inspiration. Your choice of background paper is PERFECT and so so pretty!
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Neglected Stuff challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
