Hello again, friends! I'm going to share the card I made for the Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge even though I'm barely making the deadline. The important thing is that it inspired me to get busy. My goal is to make two or more Christmas cards per month, preferably more.
The challenge board reminded me of this pretty Stamperia Dewdrops paper. It's 8x8 double sided, enabling two card fronts from a sheet, so that's what I did. Very simple with only minor differences. The bird has appeared on my Christmas cards many times. You know I've got basketsful of not-yet-used supplies, but I still turn frequently to the oldies.
Inside each card is this sentiment with a snowflake cut from the designer paper.
Total Christmas cards in the box: 13
It's better than zero!
I'll be moving along to spring now, thank you.
Have a beautiful day!

These are both so beautiful, Leslie!! I love how the bird image is cut into the background printed paper. What a pretty snowflake bird die.
Both of your cards are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and so peaceful looking Leslie! Your die cut snowflakes against the dsp are so pretty and the birdies fit so beautifully into the whole card! And congrats on 13 cards...that's definitely better than 0 and it's only April!! Hugs. :0)
Beautiful cards! such pretty paper and colors. 13 is a good number!
WELL DONE!!! You Go Girl! Both cards are just beautiful and I too have this bird but never thought to use it in this manner ... you're so smart!!! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Peace on Earth challenge! Good Luck and I can't wait to see what you create next!

So very dreamy and beautiful, we love seeing you at our Peace On Earth challenge!
I'm playing catch up, Leslie and I'm loving all of your marvelous makes! The birds are all just terrific. I like the Just a Note card with the pretty lilac color!
Lovely cards Leslie. Nice paper too. I would really love to see a dot for an eye in the bird… you know me, I always have to give my 2cents worth… We just had a good 6+ inches of snow… a freak storm. Hope the only one till next winter… Have a great day
Beautiful cards, I love the muted colours behind your sweet little birds xx
So beautiful. It looks like a dove of peace. Love the background paper
Gorgeous, Leslie! I can see why you keep returning to that bird, and your paper is so lovely.
My memory is often unreliable, but I don't remember seeing this darling and elegant bird, Leslie! Happy to see her twice today! Absolutely gorgeous background papers, too!

Omigosh, Leslie! These cards are so special! The bird fascinates me...how do you make it? Of course, the backgrounds are beautiful, too.
Congrats on having 13 cards in your box for Christmas as you add these two beautiful cards. I love how you were inspired to make Christmas cards. I often am more inspired by a challenge than just something off the cuff. I think it’s great how you finished off the inside as well. I’m really bad at that.
These are just gorgeous, I can see why you turned to them again, I love the soft colors of the birds, those papers you used are just gorgeous for a winter card, love the ombre colors in the sentiment too!
You have the best paper and use it so well, Leslie! This makes a perfect icy background to go with these sweet birds and snowflakes! I am always torn between using the new things and the old.
I love the colors you chose for this beautiful card
You are way ahead of me with your 13. These are strikingly lovely cards Leslie.
Leslie, these are so soft and peaceful in their cool snowy collage. Those background papers look like splashes of winter, while the birds watch silently in admiration of Mother Nature. I admire your goal of making 2 cards per month. I have not begun. huggers, de
