A Springtime Hello

Hi there!  Still coloring a little something now and then.  I thought I'd have another go at this pretty bird before I file the stamp set away in one of the bird drawers.  I really didn't intend to cut out the whole dang image, but sometimes my card making has a mind of its own.  It was easy to cut out, actually, and I do love the dimension with it popped up.

I used Copics on X-Press It Blending Card.  Directly under the bird is a favorite Marianne Designs Anja's Oval.  I brushed the center with DOX Antique Linen and Picked Raspberry.   The gorgeous paper covering the card base is Mintay Springtime.

This week's cards were all made last week, but I continue to spend a little time each morning in my stamp room before the spring weather calls me outside.  A little sunshine, a little rain... typical spring.  I'm sorry for everyone who is still getting snow or, worse yet, the tornadoes I've been seeing on the news.  As if things weren't bad enough.  Take care, friends.  See you again soon!

Very pretty and beautifully designed...love~love the softness of this and of course there are those Mintay papers, I need to use mine too sigh!! The bird is so pretty in the soft colors, I saw a bluebird the other day here, and we have a pesky bird that knocks on the door every morning until Mack chases it off with his barking!

So glad you gave us another treat to feast our eyes upon with this bird image again!!! The background paper is just beautiful and compliments your image so nicely. Of course, I am drooling over the die frame you used too, and how you colored the inside. Your fussy cutting was worth it because, I agree, ti makes that birdie image just pop!!! Still very cold here - the robins came and now I do not see them - I don't blame them. We actually used our fireplace this week and will today too!!! So I get my spring fix from your card;) Hugs

Love your card, Leslie...you do that darling bird justice...just comes to life and I can hear her chirping sweetly! We have had snow , but I do have a few bulbs that are fighting courageously to bloom so we will see what happens with those! Always enjoy your creations and glad you have Spring outdoors to cultivate as well. Take good care!!

Oh this is beautiful in every way Leslie! Your pretty papers (Love Mintay papers), the wonderful Anja die cut and then your wonderful coloured image. This is one of the sweetest bird images ever! Love the soft ink blending in behind the image as well as your fussy cutting, which you do very well. All in all, it was so nice seeing your card today, so glad you found time each morning to finish this. Enjoy your day, and take care,

You made another card with this beautiful bird on it!! I so love these cards! What a great job with fussy cutting. Your coloring is gorgeous as always and I love the die you used. It reminds me of the Heartfelt Creations dies that I fell in love with. I counted 12 robins on our front lawn this AM - I'm hoping that means no more snow!!

Beautiful Leslie, I can't believe you fussy cut the bird and branch, I'm so envious as I'm terrible at fussy cutting.
Love that summer designer paper as your base :)
