Power Poppy: Healing Bouquet

Hello again!  I have another beautiful new digi from Power Poppy today.  This one is called Healing Bouquet.  Marcella's art makes my jaw drop.  Girl knows how to draw botanicals!  Have a look:



I used a hand stamped sentiment, but there are also digi sentiments with Healing Bouquet.  My coloring was done with Copics on 140 lb hot press watercolor paper.  I chose Copics for this one because I printed on the wrong side of the paper.  Fabriano Artistico extra white has 2 subtly different sides and I seem to get better results on one side.  Maybe it's just me.  I do love this paper when I'm careful to use the correct side.

  4. Well, whatever side that you used, it turn out amazingly gorgeous! I am trying new watercolor papers too. Just got the Fabriano hot press, but have not tried it yet. Now I can try Copics.

  8. Gorgeous card. I love the image and the soft colors you used. I seem to stick with Xpress It Blending card. I should branch out and try some different ones. You always inspire me or is that "enable" me.

  11. Gorgeous! How the heck to you get your colors to blend perfectly? Love the soft edges and whatever side you printed on doesn't seem to matter. Gorgeous Leslie!!!

And I agree Marcella's art always blows me away, she is so talented. I've never tried copics on watercolour paper before, I love the look. Your background shading is spot on!   15. Gorgeous, I love the orientation you have used for this, and such pretty coloring, this side of the paper works perfectly for you!! I still have not tried markers on the watercolor paper, have to put that down as something to try :)

Marcella can most certainly warm my heart with her beautiful botanicals, but it is your coloring that completely melts my heart! Your lovely card is so full of peace and tranquility.   26. Leslie, this card is breathtaking, the image is beautiful but your coloring just brings it to life, I can almost smell that lemon.
    I'm so happy there's a digi of these images, I can't get any more sets, I have so many to last me a life time.
