New From Power Poppy: Aloe and Oranges

There's something new from Power Poppy for all of Marcella's digital stamp fans (count me in!).  Today and tomorrow we have digi sets to share, and there will be more coming a bit later, but promise they'll be worth waiting for.  Today it's Aloe and Oranges.  You have to know I love this, don't you?  Click the link to see more of the set.



I had to include the Gansai Tambi paints in the photo because I kept forgetting how I colored this.  I drew the border line with a ruler and marker.  When you have a full front image and no extra layers, the border line makes a quick and easy frame.

    Wow! A gorgeous digital, where does she come up with these ideas, she certainly is good at it. You have colored the card beautifully and love the frame, gosh I never think to do these things. Love seeing the paints as I had no idea what they were lol! Looking forward to seeing more!!

    First must say that I also often forget which medium I used to color something! I like seeing those paints and then I am amazed at the gorgeous details you achieve with them! An absolute beauty of a card, Leslie!
    What kind of water color paper did you use?

    You do amazing an amazing job with these digi's. They look like someone just took a photo! Like how you drew a border line. I will have to try that! Glad you are getting out tomorrow. We are on a quest today to go to a new farm to try their produce. I want some corn for dinner!

    Isn't this just gorgeous! Leslie your watercolouring is beautiful. You achieve such lovely shading and depth with your painting, which I find hard to do. I love that you kept this a one layered card, fabulous idea for the black frame. Looking forward to seeing more tomorrow!

    Gorgeous, nice summer stamp, my mom had an aloe plant when I was growing up, brings back memories :) Love how you have colored this and framed it with the pen, I keep forgetting that.

    I love aloe plants, they are hardy and beautiful and, in this arrangement, they look amazing.
    Marcy sure has a way with botanical arrangements, she knows how to mix colors and textures and you most definitely are a master in giving them life with your exceptional coloring skills.
