Pumpkins and Pears

Hello again!  Back to Thanksgiving today because I just couldn't resist coloring another one of my new Power Poppy digis from Marcella's October Digital Blitz -- 10 new additions!.  This one is Pumpkins and Pears.

The Copic markers in the picture are only a few of the many I used for coloring -- not just for blending, but for layering one color on top of another to create a whole new color.

That's a sentiment from a Power Poppy clear stamp set on the front.  I saved the "Happy Thanksgiving" that comes with Pumpkins and Pears for the inside.  Sigh... love these fall colors.

ps:

Have a happy day!

  5. Wow so beautiful. since I have been taking lessons with Amy I am noticing little details like the hint of blush on the pears and the the dark areas and highlights. The blue and orange really work together.

  9. Gorgeous card Leslie, but that is no surprise, you have a gift of coloring with Copics.
Love the different tones of orange and yellow mixed with the greens of the pears and leaves, the touch of blue from the flowers really makes the whole image pop beautifully.
The cross stitch die is just the perfect frame for this delightful image.
    Beautifully done, my friend.

  20. I am always blown away by your coloring, Leslie - it's beautiful no matter what medium or technique you use! I'm too impatient to do all the layers - and I don't have your talent! It is such a treat to study the highlights shading and rich depth of your colors on those pumpkins. Beautiful digital images too. The cross stitched die is a great accent!

  24. Hi Leslie!
I think this is the first time I am visiting your blog! I love
how you colored this image! The sentiment is so crisp! Is it stamped, or is it done by computer?

I love the colors in your little flowers! I am always looking for good combos. I am VERY
new to Copic coloring. Would you please be willing to share which markers you used on the lovely violets? Thank you for considering this request!
