Stenciled Spring Flowers

Hi and welcome back to my craft room!  I've got a simple card today, made with the SSS Fading Florals stencil, cut on a curve and placed over an embossed card base.

The sentiment is a pairing of oldies from my stash.  The embossing folder is an old-timer, too, from Stampin' Up during a Sale-a-bration.  Oh, and the curve die is one of my earliest Spellbinders.  Gosh, I've got all kinds of new things waiting in baskets, yet I inadvertently brought out the elders.  These old girls have still got it.

I'm playing along here:

April Stencil Fun Challenge -- Spring/flowers theme
Can You Handle the Pressure -- optional weather twist.  I didn't do the twist, but I'm imagining all our rainy weather will bring some pretty spring flowers.

Thanks a bunch for stopping by!

  1. Such pretty soft stenciling. The embossed layer adds wonderful texture to your beautiful card! You gotta love the timeless supplies that never lose their luster. That's why I have such a hard time paring down in my craft room. So many oldie's and goodies.

  9. As many new things as I have waiting, the old standbys keep beckoning. So many fun things to play with and so little time! Love the sweet stenciled flowers that make me want to pull out this stencil myself. Love the curve and I think I still have that embossing folder. It was a favorite.

And I still visit your blog often and continue to be inspired. Just thought you should know :). Oh, and love your card today as always. Thanks for sharing.
