Green for a Day

Happy St. Patrick's day, friends!  I made just one card for the occasion.  Nothing but the oldies here.  These stamps and I go way back to the beginning and they still bring me joy.  This is the happiest leprechaun I've ever come across.

The gingham is cardstock so I made the whole card with it -- gingham front and back and a smidgen on the inside as well.  The sentiment inside is an oldie from Power Poppy.  It works for many occasions and I use it a lot.

I just wanted to pop in and wish you a happy day.  Don't forget to wear green... unless you actually want to get pinched.  Whatever suits your fancy.

Easter cards will resume shortly.  Take care!

  6. I love to use the 'old friends' in the craftroom too Leslie. This is a sweet card and I love the way you used the gingham card as the whole card base. I've never heard the thing about wearing green so you don't get pinched on St Patricks Day and it made me chuckle! Vicky x

PS So glad to hear that Sophie had a great day out with you. Sounds as if she's made a great recovery :)

  9. What a happy leprechaun you have all dressed up and dancing around! Love the gingham! Jennifer said the same thing when they got to the house today about not wearing green and getting pinched! She had shamrock necklaces for all! Everyone is gone, dishes in the dishwasher and we're exhausted but had a fun day. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  16. I love that you still use your old stamps! I remember when most stamps looked like this and he really is the happiest Leprechaun. Happy and Cute never goes out of stye. I still have all the SU colors that you occasionally use as well. I have loved watching you create since those early Splitcoaststampers days and the Dirty Dozen Alumni! I'm so glad you still make cards and make us smile!!!! :)
