Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #2

Hello, friends!  It's time for another Peace on Earth Christmas ChallengeWe debuted on October 3 and I hope you had a chance to check it out.  Each new challenge begins on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and always "anything goes".  Please see the Peace On Earth challenge blog for more details.  We do have an inspiration board for you, but it's just there for fun.  Our board today:

Isn't it pretty?  Truth is, I made my card before I saw the board, but that's okay because I dearly wanted to use this very cool Power Poppy Garden of Gratitude stamp set from last year's release.  Since it's a garden-themed stamp I colored it all earthy and warm with Tombow markers and a blender pen.  A little plaid, a little self-adhesive gold trim... done!

Read up on all the info at Peace on Earth, see the awesome team samples, then show us yours!  Thanks so much for your time today.  Take care!

Stamps:  Power Poppy Garden of Gratitude  Paper:  Fabriano Artistico Extra White 140 lb hot press watercolor, Memory Box Christmas Plaid designer paper  Ink:  Ranger Archival Shadow Grey, SU Close to Cocoa  Coloring:  Tombow markers with homemade blender pen (no water)  Other:  Gold self adhesive trim

  2. What a gorgeous image this is, I can see why you were anxious to use it and you have colored it so beautifully!! Love the pretty plaid and the gold trim down the side and the gold trim really sets it all off! Thank you for my super cute Halloween card, I set it on my mantel among my decorations as every time I walk past it and see that 'cheesy' smile on the cat it makes ME smile, lol, that cat smiles as big as my Mack does, I LOVE it, thanks so much, I have yet to mail mine!!

  13. I can totally understand why you'd want to use this darling orange tree for your card this challenge, Leslie! Oranges equate with Christmas for me - an Uncle used to send us a crate, that included oranges, kumquats, and grapefruit, every Christmas!
    Beautiful stamp - beautifully colored!
