Butterfly Background

I'm stamping with the oldies today.  No, my friends didn't come over for a crafty date...  it's just that I'm using all old stamps.  After Tuesday's butterfly card I got to thinking about my butterfly stamps, so I had a look in the butterfly drawer.  There were a few to choose from, but this one was front and center and it didn't require coloring.  I don't know its name, but it's by Savvy Stamps and it's many years old.

This card couldn't be simpler.  I stamped the butterfly multiple times in multiple colors:  SU's Cameo Coral, Old Olive, and Bermuda Bay.  Overstamped SU's En Francais script background in So Saffron.  Popped up SU's It's Your Birthday sentiment.

I'm loving clean and simple lately.

My card doesn't look anything like the gorgeous mood board below, but I did have the Double D Butterfly Challenge in mind, so will link up over there.

Thank you for your time.  Have a happy day!

  10. I like clean and simple look and your butterfly card is perfect for this. Your butterfly stamp does a nice job and I always like SU's colors. I am using Old Olive and Real Red on all my Heartfelt Christmas cards and love how they turn out. A nice background stamp and sentiment and you're done! We are a lot cooler today so hope to get some garden work done! Take care!

  17. You know I love this Leslie, as I love anything nature related. Love it all, the CAS design, the colours, the script background stamping and of course the butterfly! I'm so glad you pulled out some 'oldies' to use, as you always inspire me to do the same. I can't remember the last time I use the SU En Francais script background, and it's so pretty just adds some interest to your card. It's always the little things you do, that makes me want to do! Thanks for sharing another CAS creation!
