Puppy Play

Hello there and happy first day of May!  I'm playing with my cute Flower Puppy from Bugaboo today.  He asked so nice and I couldn't say no.  We played very briefly between gardening and dinner prep -- quick to color, and a ready made sketch from The Paper Players Challenge.  He turned out very cheerful and fun, as is the way of puppies.




I used puppy paper and a matching sentiment sticker with Doodlebug matte sprinkles for accent.  Colored with Copics.  The "play with me" is cute, but for no particular occasion until you think of it in conjunction with the inside sentiment.  Then it has the option of becoming a birthday card.




I love that this quote is from Ward Cleaver.  I still enjoy watching "Leave it to Beaver" now and then.  They were my American dream when I was growing up.  The quote stamp is from the retired Stampin' Up! Smarty Pants set.

    This is so CUTE that it made me laugh out loud when I saw this adorable pup this morning while having my coffee...and the inside sentiment is so perfect for this pup...can never go wrong with a pup (or a kitty) card!!..Adorbs!!!

    hahaha! Love that interior sentiment, and I'm living proof that it is true! LOL Wonderful card, Leslie, with the colored tennis balls and doggy prints - and that naughty puppy, eating flowers!     Oh my gosh!! Leslie, you have the most beautiful and adorable pattern papers and you know exactly how to mix and match them to your cards.
    This puppy image is so sweet and so cute, colored perfectly,love it.
    It looks like this little guy might be in trouble?? he dug up that little flower and his face tells all, LOL!!

    What a cute card! I love the flower he is holding in his mouth with the look - no I didn't do it! All the DSP really make the card, especially all the balls waiting to be played with. We babysat our little Chihuahua and he played with his ball all day and wouldn't give it up.

    That is so adorable! Almost as cute as Wally, but Wally and Lulu are always tops. I don't think I've ever seen that sentiment set. Love the quote. Your layout is fabulous. I like the brown circle behind the puppy. It really sets him off.

    that is just too cute, I love how you used all the patterns together and they work wonderfully, great coloring of him also, love the look on his face that he got caught with a flower in his mouth :) The enamel dots are a great touch too!
