😌 Also, I've finally managed to get the Followers widget to work on my blog. See it there in the sidebar with pitifully few followers. I don't know how they managed without the widget being there, but I thank them. If you like to follow blogs in that format, it is now available. Thank you!
😃 Other options for following this blog: Subscribe by email, Bloglovin', or Feedly. My favorite is Feedly and it's what I use for following my fellow bloggers. You can see the tiny green Feedly widget in my sidebar. Click on that or Google search "Feedly" to get yourself set up. It's free and easy. You can follow any blog and set them up in categories. I've divided blogs into stamping, challenges, photography, and sketches categories. Updates are virtually instant. LOVE Feedly!

ReplyDeleteHi, Leslie! I have always used that pop up window because it allows my commenters to view my cards while commenting. Sometimes my little forgetful mind can't remember what I saw - or I want to keep going back and looking at the card as I comment because there is so much to see! I have been following you via bloglovin since you activated this blog, but just bumped your google number up a bit. It's strange how some of the widgets work, and other times they don't cooperate. Thanks for the update! xxx

Hello Leslie and thank you so much for sharing how to fix this commenting problems. I just went to change my blog settings from EMBEDDED to POP UP WINDOW so, I hope things will run more smoothly now.

I still have so much to learn about computers and their little hicups, sheeesh!! Thank goodness for kind people like you who share their findings with us less savvy folk.
Now, while trying to leave comments on the cards submitted to the challenges where I'm a Designer Team member, after I clicked the "Publish" button and waited for my comment to appear, I thought that maybe hitting the "REFRESH" button on top of the page, you know? the one that looks like a circle arrow, it helped publish the comment right away, who knows why, LOL!!

Gosh, I had not even noticed you had no followers, because of no setting..I have subscribed by email for years and now I am a follower too:-) TFS the pop up window trick. It is done and I will find out if it works as soon as I hit Publish:-) TFS your tips, my friend. Hugs...

ReplyDeleteI have noticed about the slowness and thought it might be Chrome until another friend said hers was slow and she doesn't use Chrome. Thank you for sharing your discovery about it not happening with popup comment formatting!! I hope everyone switches then - and/or Blogger stops grinding words with the embedded folks!
