Daisies in Pink and Yellow

I'm back!  Here's a card that will wake you up in the morning.  It was sent to someone awesome who can't decide whether her favorite color is pink or yellow, so I combined both.

I stamped a whole panel of Strathmore Mixed Media Vellum Surface paper with Verve's "Simply Amazing" stamp set, embossed with white and watercolored with Tombow markers.  The die cut "awesome" is Verve's "Amazing Adjectives", cut from green glitter card stock.  I added green glitter die cut leaves, as well.

There are more details below which I think will sum it up.  It seems like I've been on the computer all day, so I'll keep this short and sweet and wish you all a happy weekend.  Take care!

Stamps:  Verve Simply Amazing  Paper:  Strathmore Mixed Media Vellum Surface, Neenah 110 lb white for sentiment panel, other white for card base, green glitter paper  Ink:  Versamark, Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Pixie Pink, Tombow markers for watercoloring  Accessories:  Verve Amazing Adjectives dies, Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles, Little B Bouquet (leaves), white embossing powder, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

  4. Fabulous card, Leslie! Thanks for the close-up, too, as I always like to see your coloring and special details. The background looks sunny and happy, and I especially like the different shades. How cute to have the "awesome" uncontained on your card's panel! Most awesome people are difficult to contain, so that fits perfectly! That particular green color glitter paper is fab! It just makes me feel happy! Hoping you have a wonderful day, de

  10. Love it! Such a happy and cheerful card Leslie! Love the embossed daisies and all the watercolouring, so pretty. You always know how to put the extra finishing touches on your card - as in your glittered sentiment and glitter leaves. Great idea for the pop up flower as well. TFS. Have a great weekend as well.

  12. It is really so pretty. I love that pink and yellow together. I have not embossed anything in awhile, but have a texture challenge coming up. Maybe I should give it a go again. Won't be as cute as yours though.

  18. Wow! I LOVE this card and love how you've embossed and watercolored it. I love coloring, and I want to watercolor more. This looks like a relaxing way to watercolor without worrying too much about so many details. What a beautiful layout with the sentiment and the single popped flower! Love it! Hugs!
