Welcome back! It's a birthday card today for a thirty-something friend. She's very "into" her phone so I thought this card would be fun for her.
The girls are Art Impressions "Texting BFF's". I colored with Copics on X-Press It Blending card and sprinkled a few sparkly Nuvo Crystal drops around. Hand cut the sentiment flag and punched a flower.
I sped through the coloring rather quickly and I see some blending corrections that need fixed. Funny how you don't always notice those things until after you see the photo. I'm in a rush now, so no time to be picky. I'll just have to fix it later. It's a myth that you'll have all the time in the world when you're retired, sheesh.
I hope you enjoyed just stopping by and looking. It's kinda fun to see some fresh colors this time of year, isn't it? I'll pop in Friday with some Christmas cards. Take care!

We all have iPhones and iPads, and sometimes we need help figuring out new things, etc. So we stop stamping and begin messing with tech stuff to learn, and then back to stamping LOL! ReplyDeleteThis is just spot on for most people now days, isn't it? Everyone is so involved in their devices, they forget how to talk face to face! LOVE it! Perfect stamps, perfect paper, perfect card! I am actually to the spot I may be able to make a card this week! When I looked at the stacks of packing boxes in every room this weekend, I didn't think that would happen for months! I'm LOVING the new place!

ReplyDeleteFabulous card for your friend. Great papers and layout, and of course your colouring is always top notch. I don't see any flaws, I think we are all to critical of our own work. Love your finishing details with the flag sentiment and flower. I know she will love it!

Such a great card - it reminds me of Rachel and Sarah - never without their phones!! They text each other from bedroom to bedroom - drives me crazy!! I'm sure your friend loved it! I love the DSP!
