Hi friends! Double D has a challenge starting today that gives you all kinds of opportunities -- Wings! Have a look at our inspiration board:
I made a very simple card today using Freshly Made Sketch #751 which I loved and saved, thinking it would help me with my desire to get better at CAS. I still love the sketch, but the urge to overwork it was strong. I just don't have the CAS gene!
However, I'm so glad to have the cute little bee, the stitched dies, and the SSS Leaf Spin embossing folder in my toy box so I can play with them again any ol' time I choose.
The Double D team has some fabulous creations to share with you and I hope you'll share yours with us. I know you've got some winged ideas just waiting to get onto a card or other project.
Happy crafting!

A beautifully designed card with your pretty background paper and that fun plump bee, another lovely design!!
ReplyDeletePretty. Be Happy are the best words. Have a great day
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling winged card with all the elements needed for a bee to be happy! So cute, Leslie. Your birthday card arrived yesterday! Thank you so much for remembering me! I love the earthiness in colors. I especially enjoy sunflowers. When they are grown in my garden, they are intentionally placed near a window so I can enjoy the many pollinators who visit! Thanks again, my friend! xx
ReplyDeletel love this so much and think you did a great job going CAS. Beautiful DP and embossed background. The bee stamp is too cute. CAS is not my style either.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. Love the paper and the cute bee stamp. CAS is really hard. I tend to want to add to my cards also.
ReplyDeleteLeslie, CAS is good but not a requirement at FMS and besides I LOve your darling little bee and the paper and embossing and and and!! It all comes together so perfectly!

OMG this is just precious ... love that pudgy little bee lol. Excellent job on the CAS design! Sorry for the late comment ... pneumonia has ahold of me at the moment but I'm getting better with each passing day!
ReplyDeleteThis is CAS for me, from the embossed background to the daisy panel tilled just right to show off that bee on the daisy. Love the colors and the simple sentiment.
ReplyDeleteOh my that bee on the flower is too cute and I love your paper to match, and pretty embossing for the background, very cute sentiment to top it off!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute daisy and bee 🐝 combo! Summer was just here and now we won’t see the bees until next spring! Darling embossing folder and paper! Everything goes together so well! Love!
ReplyDeleteVery, very sweet Leslie! What pretty background paper you used for this delightfully plump bee.
