Halloween Fun

Halloween -- love it or hate it -- in my world it's all grins and giggling children, bright colors, and cute cards.  My friend shared a whole bunch of Halloween stamps with me recently and I hope to color several before mail time.  This witch by Judith is one of my favorites:

Long and lean and not so mean, I just love her!  She's colored with Copics and cheerfully sparkled.  Used my Poppystamps Spider Banner for the first time and an oft-used Taylored Expressions Ric Rac Border.  A bit of ancient designer paper.  The sentiment is an oldie from Whipper Snapper.

Next is a Penny Black Stamp.  I don't know the name of it, but I'm pretty sure it's an oldie.  I made a scene with some dies and an embossing folder.

Darice Star Border embossing folder on Core'dinations card stock, sanded to bring out the pattern.  Moon and stars are cut from glitter paper which sparkles nicely in real life.  Another oldie Whipper Snapper sentiment.

Well, that was fun!  I'll come back Friday with flowers, but I hope you got a grin today.  Till then...

hahaha! Fantastic, cute and hilarious! Look at that "uh-oh" expression on your kitty and mouse! (great fussy cutting BTW). Leslie - I love these! Check out the wacky witch in her 1960s mini dress! Loving those sentiments, too. You must have had a great time with these! Congrats on using your spider banner - and isn't it so cute? I especially like all the purple dots around your magical witchie-poo. Wishing you a great week, hugs, de

I love Halloween and so enjoyed your cards! I like stamps by Judith and thought your witch was so cute with the little spiders hovering over her and the cat and mouse riding on the broom make me giggle! Love the looks on their faces. I guess I had better start thinking of treats! Halloween will be here before I know it!

Ok my friend, I was needing a good laugh right now and you just gave it to me, good grief Charlie Brown, this little Witch is just to adorable and fun for words.
What a fantastic image, the color combination is my most favorite, plus she is sweet as can be.
And your second card is just as adorable, that little mousey is in for a wild ride, love the starry background and your awesome coloring.
Thank you for the smile, my friend.
Hugs.
Maria.
